Robert the Bruce Pewter Figurine

£18.00

Robert the Bruce, was a powerful Scottish nobleman, who took up the legacy of William Wallace in the Wars of Independence, defeated the English at Bannockburn in 1314 and became King of Scots. Under Robert was written the Declaration of Arbroath, rooting Scottish sovereignty within the Scottish Nation, rather than by divine right. Here Robert is depicted in the moments before Bannockburn, unhorsed.

Stands 9.5cm tall and is cast from high quality 100% lead-free pewter. Presented on a base of polished wood, using off-cuts from our bagpipe workshops.
